About
The Wrenfield Museum of Art opened in 1972 in the old Wrenfield feed store on Main Street, with forty paintings given by Mara Lind and her neighbors. Its collection has grown to some three thousand works by artists who lived and worked in the valley: painters and printmakers, photographers, sculptors and potters.
The museum is free and open five days a week. It is run by a staff of six and a hundred volunteers, and it lends works to schools, libraries and town halls across the county.
