In 2004 the Harlow Public Library began recording the people who ran Tincup Mountain. Three of the interviews are here: the ski school director, the lift operator, and a patroller who twice won the Tincup Cup.

“My mother sewed leather onto the palms of my mittens, and I was the envy of the whole hill.”

Dot Kimura

“People I'd been loading for thirty years, and their kids, and some of their grandkids.”

Ray Albright

“Every patrol shift I'd take one run down the Chute before sweep, and tell myself it was to check the conditions. It wasn't.”

Lena Ruiz
