The 2027 Make Your Mark calendar is here

The boxes arrived this week, and they look wonderful. The 2027 Make Your Mark wall calendar has thirteen pieces from this summer's contest: Rainbow Fox by Mila, age 6, on the cover, and one piece for every month, from Grace's torn-paper Tincup Mountain in January to Kai's magazine-window city in December.

Each month shows the artist's first name and age and a line from their statement, and library closures and story times are already marked on the grid.

Calendars are $18 at the circulation desk and at Opening Night on November 6. The Friends of the Harlow Public Library are also selling prints of the winners, note cards and a sticker sheet of the clay animals.

Every dollar goes to art supplies for the Children's Room and to next summer's contest. Last year's calendar paid for two new easels, a box of real watercolor paper and roughly a lifetime supply of glue sticks.
